This isn't another FiveM server.
It's the one we always wanted.
Carson Valley is a private, invite-only roleplay community set in the fictional county of Carson Valley and the city of San Aurelio. Real standards, custom everything, and roleplay that actually holds up.

We tried the other servers. They didn't last.
Traffic stops that turn into shootouts. Reports nobody writes. A new server calling itself “serious” every couple of weeks that is dead in a month. We got tired of watching it happen, so we built our own.

Everything here was built by us.
The cars, the CAD, the uniforms, the policies, all made in-house, because nothing off the shelf was ever good enough. When something feels wrong, we change it. Nobody here is chasing a donation goal or a player count.
Meet the teamWhy Carson Valley
What you get here
No filler. Everything below was built or written by us, for the way we actually play.
A fleet we built ourselves
Every vehicle is put together in-house and modeled on the real thing. Proper lighting, accurate liveries, no menu of a hundred toggles. What you drive looks like what it's meant to be.
Our own CAD
We wrote our computer-aided dispatch from scratch: MDT, records, DMV and warrant checks, live dispatch, and reports you actually fill out. It's close enough to the real system that it teaches you how the real one works.
Real SoCal radio (WhackerLink)
We run WhackerLink, a radio setup built on real P25, the same digital system Southern California agencies actually use. Proper talkgroups, real dispatch, and traffic that sounds like a scanner, not 'code 3 to the green blip.'
Standards that stick
Marked units, written policy, and supervisors who'll pull you aside when you cut a corner. Accountability isn't a word on a page here, it's the reason the roleplay holds together.
Civilian isn't an afterthought
It's a whole side of the community with its own tools and storylines. Some of the best roleplay we've had never involved a cop at all.
Always being built
There's always something in the pipeline: vehicles, scripts, uniforms, CAD features. The dev team answers to the people playing here, not a donation goal.
The small stuff is the whole game.
Anyone can put “realistic” in their server name. We would rather show it: in how a call gets handled, how a report gets written, and how a scene plays out when nobody is watching. That is where it actually counts.
From the team
In their own words
I created Carson Valley, CA because I was tired of seeing the same cycle repeated across roleplay communities: constant open recruitment, communities built around rank structures rather than actual roleplay, and servers that claim to be "authentic" while lacking the maturity, leadership, and common sense necessary to actually deliver that experience.
I wanted to build something different. Carson Valley was created to be a private, carefully managed community where quality matters more than member counts, leadership actually leads, and the people involved genuinely care about the experience they are creating.
This isn't about building the biggest community or having the most impressive rank structure. It's about building a small, dedicated group of people who understand what good roleplay looks like and are willing to maintain that standard.
I was invited to join the leadership team here at Carson Valley, CA, and honestly, one of the biggest reasons I accepted was because I'm tired of what the FiveM community has turned into.
Being a female in the FiveM community is rough. A lot of the time, it feels like roleplay has stopped being about actually creating stories and experiences. Everything is ERP, drugs, money, gangs, pretending to be some big gangster, or seeing who can have the most power. After a while, it gets exhausting, especially when you're just trying to find a community where people can actually roleplay without all of that being the entire focus.
That's what stood out to me about Carson Valley. I wasn't interested in joining another community obsessed with numbers, ranks, or trying to become the next massive FiveM server. I wanted to be somewhere smaller, more mature, and actually focused on the quality of the roleplay and the people behind it.
Carson Valley isn't supposed to be for everybody, and I actually like that. It's private and invite-only for a reason. I'd rather be part of a smaller community with people who genuinely care about what they're creating than another server with hundreds of members where nobody actually knows or respects each other.

This place isn't for everyone.
It is private, invite-only, and stricter than most. We keep the roster small on purpose. If that sounds like what you have been looking for, this is how it works.
